I recently tried a few different online shops and wanted to share my experience. Bad lenses can cause eye strain, reflections and headache when you wear them for hours. From my experience, communication with the store can tell you a lot. In the past I have wasted money on items that looked good in photos but felt cheap in real life. They are simply the ones that fit well and survive many rounds of washing or daily use.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

Cheap frames can look nice at first but bend easily or become loose after a few weeks. When every picture has different colors or extreme filters, it is usually a bad sign. I think sharing honest feedback helps other buyers avoid the same mistakes. Even big and famous brands sometimes send generic replies that are not very helpful. The same is true for metal versus acetate frames for glasses. Of course we all have different taste, but patterns still appear in long discussions.
Maybe this is useful for someone.
